Motorola Aura Cloned In China

Where else but China can you find clones of numerous electronic devices? While the real Motorola Aura will retail for a wee bit under $2,000, you will be able to find its clone known as the Wingtech D20, and you can be certain that it is made from sub-par plastic (hopefully melamine-free too, of course) instead of the luxurious materials found on the Motorola Aura. The switchblade design is apparently similar to that found on the Aura, and it will come with the following lacklustre features (just like its design) :-

  • Support for dual-band GSM networks, GPRS Class 10
  • 1.5″ TFT 128 x 128 resolution LCD display

  • Multi-language support

  • MP3 and MP4 playback

  • USB connectivity

  • Up to 4 hours of talk day and 120 hours on standby
