Garmin GPSMAP 4208 now out

Here is another GPS model from Garmin, known as the Garmin GPSMAP 4208 which in essence is a WAAS-enabled chartplotter that comes complete with 12 channel GPS receiver and a 8.4? VGA display to get you started right out of the box. The GPSMAP 4208 will be preloaded with BlueChart g2 maps of the U.S. coast, boasting support for the Garmin Marine Network that allows you to add sonar, radar and weather updates. It is $260 cheaper than Garmin’s recommended price on Amazon, retailing for $1,740.
